[Maths-Education] Count On and Maths Year 2000 website + "Stalin" at NCETM

Dear All

Seven-figure sums have been spent on the mathematical websites at
counton.org and mathsyear2000.org, yet they have now been taken off-line by
the NCETM (apparently permanently). This despite the fact that they have
been much-used, much-loved, and much-admired ("Best BETT Website ..." and
all that stuff).

If you would like to lobby for these websites to be reinstated (it costs
nothing), please add your comments at

Please also speak to anyone you may know at NCETM who may be of influence,
and forward this email to others and other discussion groups who may be
interested.
