At ICME 10 there will be a fascinating thematic afternoon=20
Perspectives on research in mathematics from other=20
disciplines

These include

=95 The perspective of psychology and cognitive science in=20
research in mathematics education=20
=95 The perspective of philosophy in research in mathematics=20
education=20
=95 The perspective of anthropology and sociology in research=20
in mathematics education=20
=95 The perspective of general education in research in=20
mathematics education

We are looking for a broad range of contributions in these=20
areas and invite you to send in your submissions to us (or=20
me)

You have until  February 15, 2004 for Submission of=20
proposals

Feel free to bounce any ideas off me or other organising=20
colleagues if you would like to discuss your plans.=20
Otherwise please just submit!  It would be useful if you=20
could indicate which perspective you are=20
addressing.
