[Maths-Education] Use of ICT in Learning/Teaching elementary maths

Hello
I would very much like to make contact with people in the UK doing research
in the area Use of ICT in Learning/Teaching Elementary Maths (both primary
school children and mature learners).
I am a partially retired academic computer scientist.  But my interests are
more pragmatic than academic:  it seems more likely that the governemnt
would spend money on technology to alleviate the sorry state of maths
knowledge in our country than pay maths teachers at market rates.....
