[Maths-Education] Science & Education special edition on constructivism

Dear Maths educationalists,
The following is an advert for a special edition of Science &
Education which would be of importance to constructivists and to
those involved in mathematics as well as science education.
Stuart Rowlands
Shortly a special issue of the journal =91Science & Education=92 devoted t=
o the
topic of =91Constructivism and Science Education=92 will be published (Vol=
.9
No.6). It contains 7 articles, 145pp with 63,000 words. The contributors
include four philosophers and three science educators, drawn from five
countries.
Because of the importance of the topic, and the calibre of the
contributions, the issue is being overprinted and made available to
non-subscribers.
The cost is USD25 (AUD40), air mail included. The Contents and an Order
Form for the special issue (and subscription form for the journal) follow.
Orders should be placed as soon as possible so that the print run can be
determined. Credit Card payments can be lodged by email.
