'The National Numeracy Strategy: Have we got it right?'


The Numeracy Framework is now well established in primary schools and is
being extended to secondary mathematics teaching. There are many positive
aspects of the Numeracy Strategy but nothing is perfect and it is time now
for teachers and researchers to adopt their professional responsibility in
looking for improvements in classroom approaches.
