Hello All,
I have created in a first pass, about 330 minutes of videos covering
algebra, what is a variable, one versus two way implications,
justification of entries
in truth tables for material implications, complex numbers, trig, limits
and derivatives (why slopes) in one sequence of 13 lesssons; and angles,
triangles, // lines, //gms, vectors, complex numbers, plane geometry,
dot products and cross products in an a second sequence of 28 lessons.
The second sequence gives a different starting point for
the unified exposition of its subjects. A third, shorter sequence on
arithmetic is planned.
The lessons are 2 to 20 minutes in duration. They will be posted online
in a member or subscriber only section of my website whyslopes.com on a
pay per view basis sometime in January 2000, if not before. The lessons
are intended to teach the teacher (or course designer) different ways to
understand and explain key ideas. They refine written material online
at the site.
