[Glycoweb-all] Experimental Digital Management

Dear All
Mainly researchers but worth a note to the supervisors.

As you’ll have noticed there is a need to have all glycoweb data stored in an accessible place at UoN (unless Cathy moves). The submitted high level data management plan, and a (currently Draft) cover sheet [​docx icon]  Glycoweb Data Management Draft.docx<https://uniofnottm.sharepoint.com/:w:/r/sites/GlycoWeb/Shared%20Documents/General/Governance/Glycoweb%20Data%20Management%20Draft.docx?d=w5f04e15cc4824b738620a20230052698&csf=1&web=1&e=eWYn3D> are in the glycoweb team (governance folder)…. make sure you are on this team…. anyone who has slipped through the net please let me know. This will be tweaked and then discussed and confirmed at the next project management meeting.

This message is actually about the implementation of the plan for researchers, our current process is:

This sets out how to digitally store the information for experiments. I’ve put an example file tree in the correct folders 😊

Clearly large data will need a different method but these teams can be 4TB at no cost so fairly straight forward.
