Subject: Lunch Talk - 16/10/25

Hi all,

This week’s lunch talk will be given by Julian Onions, and will take place on Thursday 16th October at 1pm in A113. Title and abstract below.

Title: What will I be when I grow up?

Abstract: Do high redshift clusters grow in a predictable way? Can we estimate how big something will be that is big at early times? In this talk I'll show why this is not necessarily the case, and that we have to be a little more cautious about predicting cluster size from their beginnings. After a few years - this project finally came to a conclusion, so I will recap what we found.

Thanks,
Joe
