Title: New Twists on Cosmological Bootstrap: Theory & Observations


Abstract:   In recent years, our theoretical understanding on the statistics of primordial fluctuations has improved significantly. In particular the cosmological bootstrap program provides a new perspective toward the investigation of cosmological correlators at the end of inflation. In this talk, I will first briefly review the progresses on bootstrapping phenomenologically relevant correlators, which include the primordial bispectra from single field, multi-field and cosmological colliders. After that, I will introduce new twists on both the theoretical development and also the observational tests. On the theory side, we extend the bootstrap analysis to reexamine more realistic inflation models in UV-complete setups. Interestingly, for a particular example of string inflation, we identify an unnoticed UV-sensitive signature in cosmological correlators. For observational test, guided by the bootstrap computation, we initiate a comprehensive search for the most significant signal of cosmological collider physics in the latest CMB data.
