Hi all,

Our Linux servers (and some desktops) use LDAP for authentication, so 
may be affected by this, and logging in may not work between 6 and 7pm 
on Monday 14/4/25.  Apologies in advance for any disruption caused.

New Maintenance Details

NGN migration affecting authentication to applications - Mon 14 April, 
6pm-midnight

14/04/2025 06:00PM BST - 14/04/2025 11:59PM BST

As part of the journey towards the Next Generation Network (NGN), 
Digital and Technology Services will be performing maintenance on Monday 
14 April 2025 from 6pm - 11.59pm. This will affect authentication 
services, including LDAP, iLDAP, UoNAuth and Shibboleth.

Authentication via LDAP, iLDAP and UoNAuth will be down from 6pm and 
should be available by around 6.30pm - 7pm.
Access to services using Shibboleth will be unavailable from 
approximately 7pm until 8pm.

During this time, users may not be able to log in to certain 
applications. A list of applications (although not exhaustive) can be 
found on theUoN Intranet
