[Astro] Jamboree! October 16th

Hi Everyone,
       Our Annual Astronomy Jamboree is next Wednesday at 15:45 (the usual seminar slot). As we've again added a number of new faces, this is a great way to get to know more about everyone and do to the current size of the Astronomy group will only be fore members of the Astronomy group.

In keeping with tradition, the idea is to let people know a bit about you and your research, so please send me two slides (in one single file, saved as <firstname>_ <lastname>.pdf) with:

 - slide 1: pictures that tell us something about you, not your work (don’t put your name on it) — Also don't include photos of yourself — but do make it fun!
 - slide 2: a brief research summary (put your name on it)

Please send me the photos by Tuesday morning.  Everyone will have ~1 minute to present.  Looking forward to having all of you participate (also if you are unable to attend, please still send slides, just let me know that you can't attend in the e-mail).
