[Astro] [CAPT] Inaugural CAPT Coding Club - Friday 2pm A113

Hello all,
You are warmly invited to the first session of the CAPT Coding Club (CCC), this Friday at 2 PM in A113.
The aim of these sessions is to create an informal, open-forum environment where we can bring coding problems we're stuck on, share useful tips and tricks, and ultimately work toward becoming more efficient programmers.
For the first meeting, we’ll have an introduction session to discuss the topics and directions we want to explore between now and the new year. Each meeting will also function as an open problem-solving session, so feel free to bring along any coding issues or bugs you're currently facing.
I already have some suggestions for future sessions that I’d be happy to lead, such as general coding practices, using GitHub, setting up VSCode, optimising NumPy performance, and making Matplotlib plots more visually appealing.
We have some extremely talented programmers with diverse skill sets in the department, so I encourage everyone to attend and help fill in any gaps in our collective knowledge. I'm happy to handle the organisation and lead discussions, but it would be great to have others lead sessions on topics such as using Linux, setting up captain/HPC, using AstroPy, working with languages beyond Python, and much more!
