Destiny (the ancient coronation stone still in use today), which you
will view exclusively as part of your private evening. The George
Intercontinental Hotel has been a grand hotel since 1881 a collection
of fine Georgian that make it one of the three hotels famed as Grand
Old Ladies of Edinburgh.

Your evening begins with your entrance at the Castle after it has
closed to the public. A piper will be there to herald your arrival as
you take the short walk from the gate to Crown Square. Champagne and
canapes will be served in the square before your viewing of the
Scottish Crown Jewels & The Stone of Destiny

A grand hotel since 1881 a collection of fine Georgian townhouses make
up the InterContinental Edinburgh The George. Over the past two
hundred years this elegant hotel has been enjoyed by literary legends
such as the iconic Scottish poet Robert Burns and author Sir Walter
Scott, as well as celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor and Kylie Minogue.
The stylish rooms are warm and inviting. We can arrange additional
night's accommodation to turn this into a longer break or upgrades to
