In my situation the old install didn't have too many LO's present so
the easiest and fastest way was to export and import LO's<br>

the best option for most organisations. Exporting and
importing into a new install isn't practical or necessary
for organisational installations with lots of existing LO's.
Just follow the upgrade instructions and obviously back-up
first then test before restoring access to everyone.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in XoT 2.x are 1 on 1 compatible with LO's in XoT 3.0<br>
You just need to export the LO's as zip and import the zips in
XoT 3.0<br>

I have used this on a new server. The old server had XoT 2.0
installed. The new server has XoT 3.0 installed.<br>
<br>
However, I have not tested an udate from XoT 2.x to XoT 3.0 on
the same server. Maybe Tom can respond on that?<br>
