Ron,<br>
<br>
You saved my day.<br>
I was reinstalling Xerte but was unable to get it to work correctly.<br>
After reading this post I realized it was caused by the link in the
site_details table.<br>
By default it says <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://">http://</a>.... there where it should read
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://">https://</a>...<br>
Everything is working now perfectly.<br>
<br>
Thanks.<br>
<br>
Regarding the question of how to apply an SSL-certificate to an
apache server, you could use the following link as a starting point<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.alphassl.com/support/install-ssl/apache.html">http://www.alphassl.com/support/install-ssl/apache.html</a><br>
You could also search on the internet for https forwarding.<br>
A starting point could be <br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://www.sslshopper.com/apache-redirect-http-to-https.html">https://www.sslshopper.com/apache-redirect-http-to-https.html</a><br>
<br>
Best regards,<br>
