<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">If they want to have Maths read out for people with VI or dyslexia/dyscalculia then MathPlayerSetup.exe is a free plugin for IE 9 and below which will allow you ot only to render maths beautifully on web pages
but it will also read out MathML in a meaningful way. Unfortunately IE10 is not compatible with MathPlayer (and Microsoft have provided no alternatives) so if you want to do maths as a disabled person you can’t use Windows8 platform.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’m doing some work with a new Science and Technology academy being set up here in Nottingham: I want to compile a list of useful – and preferably free – applications for them to consider installing for students to use. They are going to
provide a mix of desktop and tablet technology, so do you have any particular favourites you’d add?</p>
