Otherwise you might as well just make the videos available. It seems a lot of places seem to think it’s a good idea, but I can’t find many institutions with a programme of live events. It has been gaining traction over the past few years and I believe this February they will be having their first online conference. <br> <br>I work for a provincial government and we have also been exploring live streaming of language training courses for small regional communities which do not have sufficient numbers of immigrants to support a face-to-face classes. The main challenge there has been with technology and with educating the service providers. Colleges and universities are welcoming of the technology but it has been a challenge to get the instructors embrace the technology and adapt their approach to delivering language training to fit a hybrid/blended model.<br> <br>Demand is definitely increasing amongst communities and administrators - it is the instructors who require the most encouragement for adopting the model into their own practices.
