v2 as a proof of concept that can hook/filter around 15 hook points throughout the core code to augment/change things without altering any core code? This appears to be something that would help you futureproof your upgrade path.</p>

This is workable as a menu John but in my opinion not optimum. The user cannot see more than one part at a time and doesn't know what's been done - better in my opinion that the menu show all parts with checkmarks if completed and at least one selection of
modules (also checked if completed). I'm still a long way from getting into html5 toolkits but that's the type of menu I'll be angling toward one way or another.<br>

You would need to build a custom interface. (and take into account that the HTML5 version would also need to be customized).<br>
