Ok, some of this is history...<br>
<br>
1. The title of the learning object (title of the item identifier) is
hardcoded. It says "My learning object title". This is what is shown
in the Scorm player. <br>
2. The title of the package (the name of the package) is set to the zip
file name, and some manipulation is done on _, i.e. _ is replaced with
' ' (space).<br>
3. Also the title of the generated html file is hardcoded "SCO Example"
in xot.<br>

I changed this in standalone Xerte to be replaced with Items the user
had influence on. So, I chose the name and the title in the XML,
because for Xerte standalone that makes perfect good sense, and is
better than the project name (easier to change by the user).<br>

So when I got involved in XOT as well, I wanted the two to behave the
same, and yes, the XML names are not the most obvious ones, but it
seems silly to do it differently.<br>

So, part of this is caused by my ignorence.<br>

The only name that is used is the name of the file. In the scorm export
nothing is extracted from the xml file. That is what I did. I can send

I have a fix for xot as well, but that introduces a dependency on
SimpleXML for php (the title is in template.xml). Of course I could try
to get it out without using an XML parser, but that seems silly to me. <br>

In the same fix I also created an export to SCORM2004. Scorm 2004 is
added as an extra option, just like in the standalone version.<br>

When doing more with Scorm than only keeping score it is convenient to
have SCORM2004 as an option. The datamodel is slightly different
between Scorm1.2 and Scorm2004 and some Scorm2004 players are really
ugly in showing Scorm1.2 learning objects. <br>

Pat, Julian, should I commit these changes? Or do you want to see them
first (I can give you access). It will mean that the installer should
check for SimpleXML.<br>

unpack the .zip file, and than edit the imsmanifest.xml, and/or the
scormRLO.htm.<br>
