I get the prompt when ticking the TTS box on the LO and the highlights on tabbing through just no audio! :-( Yet as I say it works with local and intranet zone LO's. I also tried making the Internet zone settings identical to the intranet settings but still no joy. Pretty certain about that. The ActiveX control in question is the Microsoft SAPI one, and it’s part of windows: it doesn’t need downloading. I just seem to recall having to change that setting in order to get it to work on presentation machines when delivering training. However I could be wrong as it's often a last minute thing to try to get working before a training session and often on machines that have all the settings locked down.
