version appears to be http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/xerte/downloads/xerte3beta.exe that said I get the same error with both :-(</span></p>

http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Download+Flex+Hero</a> (I had to edit flex-config.xml and put in the 10.2 bit of the path to playerglobal.swc - in this build static-link-libraries is true already).</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Get Flash Player 10.2 debugger (was included in the SDK build 18623) and run it once so the system knows where to find it. Install the players for your browsers.</p>
