Seems a shame to lose the kudos gained so far for xerte. I guess my confusion as a novice user has been the difference between the online toolkits and the 'developer' version. I understand they are different as I've managed to produce useful stuff with xertetoolkits but have so not really managed with xerte itself as my understanding of actionscript and the logic of xerte is shall we say minimal. But at the same time you have a Xerte community and a lot of people who have heard of Xerte and the Xerte range of tools and associate that name with University of Nottingham.
