Regarding issue 1 the TechDis sandpit works fine with images so a few<BR>
possibilities...<BR>

make sure there are no special characters in filenames - ideally no spaces<BR>
either but should still work with spaces<BR>
make sure the image files are .jpg, .gif, .png, or .swf not un-supported<BR>
formats like .bmp or .wmf<BR>
I don't know if Xerte or flash has a bit depth restriction but perhaps<BR>
ensure .jpgs are 24bit<BR>

Hi. 2 questions regarding xerte:<BR>

1. I am experimenting with xerte in the sandpit. It seems that I cannot<BR>
easily upload media. I have uploaded one jpg file, but when I try to upload<BR>
others they do not come up. When I try to preview I get the message "You<BR>
must select media before you can preview it" but it is uploaded with this<BR>
address: FileLocation + 'media/new videos.jpg' The image that<BR>
works has the same address, but others do not work at all.<BR>

2. Am finding it really hard to upload xerte to my webserver (bluehost). I<BR>
fail at the first hurdle. l I have made the root folder writable (777) and<BR>
others (setup, etc) but when I try to install, it doesnt like it. It says<BR>
'dangerously writable'...and it changes these folders back to unwritable!<BR>

Any tips to these basic Qs?<BR>
