I think it s because Xerte being Win based used the registered file type extensions to determine what media is being imported.<br><br>Mac files have a resource fork embedded which tells the OS what the file type is, so Mac files by default have no extension.<br>Without the extension, Xerte can't tell what the media type is, and hence which import dialog to display.<br><br>Interestingly, Import Media works for me, but the drag/drop doesn't seem to do anything.
