<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>as long as you open the .rlt first. That instance of the application sets up the local connection to the debug window. Later instances try to - and fail, as the connection name is in use. </FONT></DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT></DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr><FONT face=Arial size=2>It is an acknowledged pain and I've tried at least several times to fix it, but it is tricky to get an application instance to generate it's own named LocalConnection for the debug and preview windows dynamically. Fancy a stab at it? It's the debug() function in debug.fla and XMLEngine.fla, and the surrounding code that sets up the connections.</FONT>

<P><FONT size=2>Another place to look for errant debug calls is in the model files if you are<BR>using a template.<BR><BR>towards the other thread on the debug window not showing;<BR>Close your browser as well; I found that after running a project in ffox through<BR>blackboard that my debug windows would exhibit the two instance issue.
