was done in at least one Authorware conference and was very successful in my
opinion, I used them, probably so much so it was curtailed as to not affect
conference attendence, but for those who can’t get there (ie Canada) it
works very well. The videos form a nice little knowledgebase for new people. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

User-friendly Content Creation: Xerte Online Toolkits<br>

The workshop offers an opportunity for a comprehensive overview of the<br>
successful open-source software Xerte Online Toolkits, developed by the<br>
University of Nottingham, and gaining use all over the world.<br>

Topics to be covered and expected outcomes<br>
<br>
Participants will leave the workshop with a good understanding of how to<br>
use Xerte Online Toolkits to create rich, accessible content, and<br>
publish that content online. Participants will take away an<br>
understanding of the different ways that they can use the software to<br>
create content and how to go about an institutional installation.<br>

Monday afternoon before the conference starts. It will run from 2-5, and<br>
ALT-C is in Manchester this year. The event is free as well.<br>
