OK, a simplistic question.<br>

I've been looking at the back end of this thing for so long I haven't really
paid attention to the actual engine functioning. :-/<br>
<br>
Am I way off the concept here: <br>
<br>
Engine loads XML structure into memory.<br>
Now, it does not actually build any of the objects until requested.<br>
So root and IFC and everything until the flow is somehow halted load.<br>
Now I navigate to page 2.<br>
Engine reads that node, loads appropriate clip and sets properties as defined
in XML.<br>
<br>
So that is why variables for instance, when they change, have to be explicitly
refreshed in an existing "icon/mc".<br>
The display or whatever is being statically built as encountered. If something
like a variable is changed, the variable is changed in the XML structure in
memory, then the node needs to be reloaded.<br>

It is so difficult to unload(RootIcon) the flowline metaphor from my brain.<br>
