with Flash MX 2004 but I suspect the one that comes with Flash 8 will be
similar if not the same.</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I think Julian is right - the components
used by the template must assume a specific hierarchy that means they won't
work within another movieclip.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">I've considered Julian's suggestion
of opening these files in a new window - this works, however it's a departure
from the basic design of my application and I'd like to avoid this.</font>
<br>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">When I get the time I'll look at the
code that drives the templates to see if it can be modified to suit Xerte
- it's either that or recreate all the quiz files from scratch!</font>

first interaction and moves to the next frame but doesn't get beyond the
