Hi Jason

To add to Julian's response I would go with a 1920 width as that's quite a
common size on higher end laptops etc. However it's not an exact science.
Basic principal is as follows:

You don't want the image to repeat horizontally but you want it to fill the
header.

You don't want the image to repeat vertically either which is less likely
but can happen if your page titles are lengthy or if the resource is viewed
on a wide range of devices/window sizes.

BTW I haven't checked it but I suspect that message sent to the list with

Great Bootstrap page, fingers crossed that someone from Kent Fire & Rescue
