Sorry, you would replace the two files in your xerte install at



/editor/js/toolbox.js?

/modules/site/engine/upload.php?



with the ones in the relevant links that I sent you. Backup the files at these positions in your own install first though so that you can replace them if you experience any undesired effects.



Not 100% sure when v3.3 is going to be released but it should be coming soon.

There was a bug in this page template which has now been fixed and will be in v3.3

What export option did you use? I think you need to select 'Archive zip' if you want to be able to import it again.

Change the 'display mode' in the editor to fill window. This should mean that the project fills the size of the iframe rather than stays at the fixed 800 x 600 size.

Hmm, I have just tried this on my xampp install and am getting the same problem. Not sure what's going wrong though - any ideas anyone else? I assume importing should work on xampp installs too?

Yes it should work, but please keep in mind that the default upload size 
is 2Mb on xampp. Is the zip larger than 2Mb?

Yes it should work, but please keep in mind that the default upload size is 2Mb on xampp. Is the zip larger than 2Mb?

Edit xampp/php/php.ini and find upload_max_filesize - I've just increased it on mine and it works ok now.

Looks like even single page (no media) exported projects will always be more than 2Mb so maybe we should put something in documentation about this (if it's not there already)

You must restart your webserver (ie Apache) service before the changes will be picked up.

It didn't work before that for me. Now it works all good.

Yes it should work, but please keep in mind that the default upload size is 2Mb on xampp. Is the zip larger than 2Mb?

Hi,

Just noticed that the editor here is unfortunately not very user friendly and doesn't offer some basic useful features like changing opacity of the shapes and so on.

The icons are also too small and I noticed that the tool freezes several times almost reaching the threshold of "close it and run".

It could be such a powerful tool.

No, not in the immediate future. The current editor is flash based and we want to get rid of it, but i don't know of a suitable JavaScript editor yet.

Hi, just wondering if anyone can offer any advice on fixing the following issue in Xerte, I have set up a custom theme (css) but can't override the background/background-image of the top header/banner (I can for the footer), it remains black when viewed in IE9, (this doesn't happen in other browsers such as Chrome), I think it's being overidden by some core style maybe....

Just being cheeky with another issue re the same example files I just posted, you might notice if you try to play the narrations in IE9 they don?t play, just wondering if anyone is aware of this or knows any workarounds?

You will need to use mp3s for the audio - you are using .wav which aren't supported in IE's HTML audio player
