If so help us add you to our informal list of known organisations... Message-ID: <015601d0365e$6e3cd2d0$4ab67870$@co.uk> Hi all apologies for cross posting. We would like to quickly update our list of organisations that we know to be using Xerte Online Toolkits. In future we will have a 'register your installation' button and form as part of the Xerte management interface but for now we would like to quickly update our list of known organisations. Initially this is to display during a forthcoming international conference. The simple form we are using right now also provides an opportunity to provide an anonymous comment or quote if you wish. So if your organisation is using Xerte please add your organisation name to this simple form: http://goo.gl/forms/fm7YYmrcqk Don't worry about whether someone else has already added your organisation we will filter duplicates. The form will be live until noon on Wednesday 28th January. At some future point thereafter we will add the resulting list to one of our community pages and then share the link via the lists. Please feel free to share this request and link to your own communities if any are Xerte users. Thank you. So I certainly don't think anyone would say that we have a minimum size to be included in our listing. This is an informal list anyway, we're unlikely to hear from everyone and it's often a nice surprise to hear about those using xerte that we didn't know about. Please do use the form to add your organisation. Are you using the latest version of TaskChain? I know there have been previous discussions on moodle.org leading to changes in the TaskChain module to ensure xerte content works. Any problems are most likely to lie within the TaskChain code rather than the Xerte output. A quick reply to the TaskChain question - yes, we are using the latest version, and I am absolutely sure the problem lies in TaskChain - well, in our misunderstanding of how to use it, not the plug-in itself - and not with Xerte. I've tried adding Hot Potatoes, TexToys and Xerte files, all with the same frustrating failure. I have also tried contacting Gordon Bateson, but with no success. You either need to upgrade your install to a later revision or follow the instructions below: MathJax changed their MathJax CDN hosting. Specifically they changed the https:// address we use in Xerte Online Toolkits. You can read more about that change here: www.mathjax.org/changes-to-the-mathjax-cdn/ There are 3 files in the Xerte install which point to the now broken source. The 2.1 distribution, and 2.1 update packages are fixed. You can also patch your installation: These are the files that need fixing: \modules\site\play.php \modules\site\preview.php \modules\xerte\player_html5\rloObject.htm The change needed is to change to ----- HTH Ron From: xerte-bounces at lists.nottingham.ac.uk [mailto:xerte-bounces at lists.nottingham.ac.uk] On Behalf Of rob Sent: 30 January 2015 12:33 To: Xerte discussion list Subject: [Xerte] Problem with navigation icons in XoT objects Recently I noticed that there accurred a problem with the navigation links under the objects created in XoT.
