ok language changer is working
The next time I debugged this gave no errors!?
Yes, but perhaps
debug(engine.currentLanguage);
at a few points will tell us something.

That one shows how to change the language in a script.

The logic there changes the interface language.
It may show you any missing steps.

can't select gr-GR! from the page menu!

Yes I know, its been a while that I used Xerte standalone.
Preview works if you choose the language in the Pages menu.
But even if you don't do that, it will work for the published package.

On the fourth line, change code="gr-gr" to "gr-GR"

Installed Xerte

No, no, I was just wondering how you managed to translate ALL texts in 11
minutes, but what you did is all.
It should work now. Just change (in each learning object) the language from
en-GB to gr-GR
If it doesn't let me know. There is no need to reinstall Xerte.

and added

as last line of
language-config.xml
...and after all that what else I must do?

Look in the languages folder of your Xerte installation, and make a copy
of engine_en-GB.xml to a greek version.
Edit the file with a text editor
Add greek to the language-config.xml file
