Hi Tom,

Thank you for your reply. We are a little bit confused about all this
tracking stuff. After we moved from XOT v1.7 to v2.1 the LO's stopped
tracking to the database. We don't use it to export, but for in place LMS.
So, if I've understood you well, I need to replace this file
\modules\xerte\js\xttracking_noop,js for this other \modules\xerte\scorm1.2\
xttracking_scorm1.2.js, in order to enable the SCORM tracking in XOT v.2.1?
It's that right?

Thank You for your help,

Javier

Ron,

It depends a bit on how you deploy the SCORM packages. If you somehow
managed/changed xot to do the SCORM tracking when playing the LO's from
SCORM, you have to change your setup a bit.

- Tracking is enabled by default
- More then 1 quiz is supported (you have an optional parameter to set the
'weight' for a specific quiz)
- Several options (Track first/ Track Last) are optional parameters on the
LO level (first Icon)

What happens is that if SCORM tracking isn't needed (like on preview or play
from xot) an NoOp version of the tracking code is used. When you export the
LO as a SCORM packages, a 1.2 or a 2004 tracking version of the javascript
file is loaded.

So, if you used to export an LO to be able to track SCORM, you don't need to
change anytjhing.

Other wise you need to repllace the NoOp .js file with the 1.2 or 2004 js
version.

Tom

In past XOT (1.7 / 1.8) when we added the quiz icon there was a drop down
parameter for SCORM tracking.

Our customization is dependent on this for recording to our database.
however this seems to be missing in XOT2. Is this parameter still available
somewhere for a quiz? Otherwise.. It means a major amount of work for us.
