Not sure if you've discovered this already but Xerte already has some LTI
functionality configurable via the management page. Some basic notes in the
documentation folder e.g. \documentation\LTI Documentation.txt

However I don't think it has the automatic account creation functionality
part of LTI so I'm not sure it currently works in the way you would want but
could be wrong about that, it's quite a while since I tested this. Likewise
if you require tracking of scores etc in the remote LMS I don't think that's
possible with the current codebase either. However I know Tom Reijnders has
been looking at, or plans to look at, Tin Can functionality so that might
be a possibility for the tracking side etc in the future.

Obviously it's open source so you could always add the functionality you
require and if you do then share that back with the community.

Subject: [Xerte] Xerte and IMS LTI

I have just discovered IMS LTI and it looks as if it is the solution to the
problem we have delivering course content to other user's local LMS, without
losing control of the content.

The LMS end of the system looks straight forward but I am looking for any
experience anyone has of setting up the LTI Tool end using course materials
developed in Xerte. Is there a way to deliver Xerte learning objects as
remote tools in an IMS LTI configuration?

Has anyone done this already or am I going to have to start from scratch?

Kind regards,

Andrew
