As we work with an external translation agency, an export/import function of all text content would be preferred. However, they do already translate some xml files for us so that might work, as tags can be locked in their tool leaving just the actual text editable.

Hi,

That's an interesting proposition.

In the mean time, there are two ways of doing it now:

1. Make a copy of the LO and than translate the texts while keeping the original open
2. The actual texts are in the template.xml file in the .zip (after export). You could trying to translate this file, but you really have to be careful and knowledgeable to know what to translate, and what to leave alone. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Hi!

What is the best way to manage Xerte learning object language versions? Once a LO is produced, we frequently need to produce various language versions of the same object. Is there a way to extract texts from a LO for translation and import them to the LO, without the need to build the translated LO from scratch?

Kind regards,
Mari
