It’s easy in /languages/wizard_en-GB.xml I think, however I think from memory that the buttons don’t resize so some text ends up hidden…

I think it’s as Pat suggests – sometimes you want to see what something looks like before committing to saving it. On the other hand at least playing and saving together means you have less chance of losing things.

Is it easy / possible to rename buttons if someone wanted to on their installation?

I can see a logic that they want to preview without saving?

I's say that's a misunderstanding of what the two buttons do.
The play button when editing actually saves changes as well as plays. It save changes to preview.xml
The publish button saves and publishes those changes to the public version (if made public)
Sometimes it's desirable to make changes/additions without yet publishing those changes to the version learners see.

As long as you preview or publish you are always saving. In short the current wording is more correct than renaming those buttons.

We’ve received some feedback within the TechDis helpdesk.

Alison Christie from the University of Abertay Dundee has said from some of her workshops some suggestions are –

They would like it if the "publish" button was called save and the "play" button to be called preview. Is this something that can be changed with the developer toolkit? If so which files would we tweak?
