Brilliant.

Its so close that for now I don't need to develop the extra features in. I can work around them.

Thanks!

Hi
the Connectors > Hotspot Image connector is probably the closest match to what you want to achieve. Have a look at that.
Jonathan has made a guide available at http://xerte.org.uk/docs/xot/help/HotspotImageConnectorPageGuide.pdf
You might want to join the developers list for further help or if you're interested in contributing etc http://lists.nottingham.ac.uk/mailman/listinfo/xerte-dev

Subject: [Xerte] Hot Spot Navigation

Hi guys,

I am very new to Xerte as I have literally only just installed it and started to play around with it. I have a specific project in mind and wanted to know if a template has been created or is being created that I can use.

I'm after a Hot Sport image that can be used as a navigation and can have html added to the info/label that comes up when you click on the hotspot. Ideally I don't want to have to use the developer version to build the content myself. Ideally id like the template to have some drop down options:

The ability to add navigation to other Xerte pages when you click on the hotspot itself
The ability to add navigation (one or more) to other Xerte pages within the label of the hotspot itself.
The ability to add further pictures, html external links to the label of the hotspot itself.

I am a developer myself and so I may have a go at creating the above (haven't looked at the back and of Xerte yet, so I don't know if what I just said was stupid), but I code for Moodle, Moodle 2, SharePoint etc.

If anyone has any comments or suggestions, or know that what I am asking can be done in Xerte at the moment, please get in touch.

Thanks
