Wonder how a browser handles it?

It gets messy.

You can do it though:

- Get passed the string, in a text icon...
- check for an image tag, split the string if there is on, get the path
- put first piece of text in icon.nextSIbling;
- create vars for the image and use a preloader
- place the second piece of text under the image, whose height you now know

(that would still work even if fontsize changes)

In this case it's known.
But what happens if the user changes display font sizes for instance?

Um-mm. The size of the graphics is predictable?

It's a Johan type engine that's in use already.

Any reason you don't want to use more icons?

Any way to get this set up so the lower block of text doesn't try to wrap the graphic?
It's in a text icon obviously.

Look at this diagram which gives a summary of the argument between the students:

Listen again to the students' arguments.

You didn't get a response to a mail you sent on boxing day? Are you at all surprised?

Subject: [Xerte] Solved: Setup a password protected environment for Xerte when no LDAP is available

Hi All,

I didn't get any response.
Should I send this mail to another e-mail address?
Any help is appreciated.

However ...
By going through the code I found the DB-option to setup a password protected xerte website. Works fine for me.
It would have been easier if this would have been mentioned in the installation manual.

Hi All,

I'm not sure if I've send this message to the right place. Is there another forum where to post my question?
My previous mail did not appear in the mailing list, although I receive other mails coming from xerte at lists.nottingham.ac.uk<mailto:xerte at lists.nottingham.ac.uk>

What do I want to accomplish?
* Setup Xerte on a webserver (I already did this)
* Give lectors access to Xerte by using a password, so they can work together on courses
* Preferably at first I only want lectors from the domain "KHLim.be" to be granted access to the Xerte website
* Integrate these courses in our Blackboard/Toledo LMS by using the IFRAME option.
o This way I want to give students access to the courses we created in Xerte
o Preferably I don't want to setup a username and password for every student. How to best do this?

Below you can find information on what I already tried.

Any help is greatly appreciated

With kind regards

Onderwerp: login_library.php is empty

Hi All,

I'm trying to setup Xerte on a website and ran into some problems.

I did a full install from version V 1.8
I followed the instructions in the manual and everything was installed successfully
The Xerte website works. I can create new courses and view them, work with IFRAME integration in our LMS, etc.

The website that hosts xerte doesn't support LDAP
Since I want to setup some password protection for the site a have setup a password on the /httpdocs (root) folder of my site
I created several users, each with their own password.
I made sure that the same users were also created in Xerte via management.php

According to the instructions in the installation manual I have to work with switch.php and put in the usernames and passwords
In the version 1.8 which I downloaded there was no switch.php
On the mailing list I found a switch.php and downloaded it and made the necessary changes
Running that file gave a blank screen
After some investigation I found that login_library.php was empty

The fact that in the first place there was no switch.php present and the fact that login_library.php is empty gives me the impression that I did something wrong or that I use the wrong options. Please advise what to do next. Are there other installation instructions available?

What do I want to accomplish?
* Setup Xerte on a webserver
* Give lectors access to Xerte by using a password, so they can work together on courses
* Integrate these courses in our Blackboard/Toledo LMS by using the IFRAME option
* We don't want the courses being publicly available

Thanks in advance for helping me ...
