[Xerte] Fun with FPS

I'm recovering some bitmap sequence animations from Authorware.They export as a bitmap sequence that I can now bring into Flash via Import to Stage.
They seem to import at a natural rate of 12 fps, so of course they run too fast when they are linked into Xerte via the graphic icon.
Any way around this one?
