Tried preloadMedia but same issue. In Chrome.
I should have done this before.
In IE8, it fails on first run, but if I page back, it works correctly.BUT, if I use preloadmedia(mynode) it works correctly on first run.
So, Chrome, it doesn't matter what I do, it fails. IE8, preloadmedia solves issue.
Does that suggest any particular failure point?

I think so, it's been a while, but I've seen it before, a long time ago, nd was unale to fix it. You might be able to verify that diagnosis somehow?
