This coming Friday (30 November) at 13:00 GMT be the final free Xerte toolkits webinar for 2012.

In this session we will have the opportunity to see how the open source Xerte Toolkits content authoring tool fits into the e-learning ecosystem of a learning provider. Starting from the premise that there is no such thing as a "one size fits all" solution this will be an interactive session where we explore a range of key criteria (eg support, ease-of-use, self-assessment tools et cetera) and participants can plot their own favourite tools on a live graph against Xerte.

If you don't already know Xerte, this is an excellent opportunity to understand the things it does well and how it might fit into your existing toolkits.

If you already know Xerte, this is an excellent opportunity to find out about other tools that you might use in conjunction with Xerte toolkits to provide even richer learning experiences.

Come along prepared to debate and to learn something new.

Xerte toolkits is developed and maintained by the University of Nottingham e-learning team and supported by an active developer community. JISC TechDis supports the Xerte project's active promotion of accessibility.

Most Xerte Friday sessions are recorded and include links to sample learning objects - find the recordings from 2012 back to 2009 at http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/investinyourself/havetooffer/onlineworkshops/xertefridays
