Which would mean they killed Authorware for no good reason, since
getting Flash was why Adobe purchased Macromedia. But I like Xerte
better, anyway. J

Until Apple drops the other shoe and says, no Flash, no how.

The question is really whether there is any point in building a Flex
project, whatever tools you use.

If you want to build mobile apps, there is a very big point, I think
Flex is the best cross-platform development SDK out there for iOS and
Android development, likewise if you only need to deliver to desktop
PCs, the Flex framework is very cool. But if you want to deliver to
every browser on every device, the Flash Player is not going to do it,
and that's the problem.

IOW, not much point in starting a project in Xerte 3.
The traction is elsewhere.

Again, Xerte 3 will not play nice with the translator libraries then.

Ditto above.

More curious questions:

Xerte 3 is backwater at this point, no?
H5 player will deal with XOT, correct?
XOT is not using Flex framework, right?
