How are you setting the path for the movie icon?

Store it in a variable, defined beforehand

myPath = 'http://server.com/file.flv'

then put {myPath} in the url property on the icon

Hello,

Try downloading this file and opening it - I made it a while back and I am pretty sure it loads RLO's back on a click.

Folks,

I'm trying to dynamically load an FLV movie. My approach is to have the movie icon setup but leave the URL property blank. When I need to show the video I set this property in the script attached to a play button. It's not working for me, although this approach works for graphics. Anyone have any ideas of how I can do this? I could always try and hide the video behind a graphic but it seems too much of a cheap hack for me.

This is for standalone Xerte, not XOT.
