Hi Russell

I've sent you a reply offlist - I think you urgently need to speak to your
hosting service!

Hi Ron

The homepage for our XOT on Moodle is www.dacl.org/xertes - yes, there is a
letter 's' at the end!

If I go to this page directly, without first logging-in to our Moodle, then
the XOT 'Log in' option shows as 'Log out', so the way that we'd normally
access XOT is to first log in to our Moodle, at www.dacl.org, & then append
'/xertes' to the URL to display the XOT page.

Following your suggestions, these are the outcomes:

Using the SandPit I created a simple LO, exported, extracted & opened it OK,
& imported it without any problems.

When trying to import the same LO into our XOT using IE9, the import failed,
without displaying any error message - nothing happened after clicking the
'Import' button - i.e. no progress bar or error message - just the 'Import'
dialog.

When trying to import this LO into our XOT using Google Chrome, the import
again failed, but the error messages that I identified in my first post were
then displayed.

I repeated the import-export process with our XOT using a different LO - one
that's already on our XOT. The export, extraction & run worked OK, but the
import produced the same results on the two browsers, as described above.

So, from what you said in your last post, am I correct that I need to advise
our Moodle hosting service to reinstall v1.7 again.

Russell
