I think they do scroll don't they? I've just changed my example so the 1st tab has a subpage with lots of text on it and it's scrolling ok.
Have you got an example where it's not working?

Hi Fay,
This looks brilliant and I can think of some powerful uses already in terms of developing essay skills.

A question though - Is it possible for scroll bars to be added to the subpages to solve the issue of text overflowing the frame? I know Julian has argued before about encouraging people to create bite sized text - a view I wholeheartedly agree with - but when you take into account the way visually impaired people may choose to enlarge the font size using the accessibility controls it is often unpredictable as to the point at which the LO will break. If you want to have an image in the subpage (which you often do) the issue becomes even more frustrating.

How big a job would it be for subpages to share the scrollbar behaviour of many of the main pages?

A new template is available in the svn.

It's a version of the tabbed navigator which allows you to create a list of topic links with each topic displaying a new series of tabbed pages. Each tabbed page can also have subpages. You can see a simple example here: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/toolkits/play_6580

The model file is called tabNavExtra.rlm and it appears as Navigators > Tabbed Navigator + on the Insert menu.
