Hi everyone
Most of you are familiar with the free online XerteFriday training sessions on the last Friday of the month. This year's schedule is now available on the JISC TechDis website - go to www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/xerte<http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/xerte> and follow the link at the bottom to the Xertefriday 2012 schedule. There are some new pages too on using Xerte with specific learner needs - dyslexia is the first one we've tackled but more are on the way - follow the links.

Hope to see many of you on Friday 27th January where we'll cover "Designing for interactivity with Xerte" - a chance to see some of the templates you may not yet have tried and also to swap ideas and recommendations with others.

Do you have a nice Xerte learning object you've designed for learners? Have your learners created anything exciting that you'd like to show us - contact alistair at techdis.ac.uk<mailto:alistair at techdis.ac.uk> if you've got anything you'd like us to showcase on 27th

Yes, I'm getting similar problem - I can make the changes, add pages etc but can't then preview them or see the extra slides once published. I'll follow up now and update as I have info.

Hi

Is there a problem with the Xerte sandpit today? I cannot get it to save any changes I make to my work...

Thanks

Oli

Use the default youtube player in a new window page type: use the embed code to create the new window, then I think you can use the subtitles...

Hi,

Does anyone know if there is a way of embedding youtube videos and keeping the optional subtitles?

Thanks
