Subject: [Xerte] Re: problem getting wizards to open

We have used page wizards extensively and encountered similar problems on
win XP Xerte 2.16. I think it is related to "creating a new folder" when
Xerte does not recognise the "new folder" when you rename it and then
crashes requiring a restart.. Opening existing pages after initial set up
you usually have to use the wizard again but because the folder exists it
normally works fine.

A work around from within Xerte has been to create a new folder then click
on another existing folder then go back and click the renamed new folder.

Another approach which we also use successfully is to create the pages
folder structure outside of Xerte so when you open Xerte and create a new
page with a page wizard the folder already exists.

We stick to the recommendation that a folder call pages is in the project (
rlo) folder with a sub folder for each individual page that uses a wizard.

I'm still having problems getting page wizards to open on Windows 7.
Kaspersky anti virus is set to trust xerte.exe, not sure why else they would
not open, unless I'm doing something wrong or not understanding what should
be happening. I've put a Jing movie at this location to describe the issue:

Anyone else having this?
