It will work. 

If I were redesigning an interface that would work with toolkits content, the single bestpiece of advice is that I would make the stage area, for page content 800 x 514 pixels. Do what you want in the top and bottom bars, but layout is often hardcoded around those dimensions in the templates. You can position the content area with code, but keep it 514 height, because thats the height the templates all assume for layout.

You could have a thick top bar and thin bottom bar, as we have now, or make a thick bottom bar, or whatever, but if you stick to 514 for the content area you can exploit pretty much the whole xerte toolset, bespoke content, hyprid projects, or bespoke stuff.

So if we "publish" to ".swf" file the "XMLEngine.fla" and replace it for the XOT "XMLEngine.swf" then it should work ?

That’s one way.

Basically the options are
- use the style sheet for colours etc;
- turn visuals off and either add your own content in the entry frame;
- turn visuals off and make your own swf to act as the interface
- modify XMLEngine.fla

More likely the .rlt templates.

Set visuals to 0 and add the needed functionality in the LO entry frame.
