I compiled one of the Beta versions some time ago. So I can't recall the process, but made a note of the commands I used:

flex_sdk_4.5.0.17077/bin/mxmlc -accessible=true -target-player 10.1 -debug=true "/path/to/LearningObject.mxml" -source-path="/Applications/XerteProject/Xerte3.app/Contents/Resources"

sudo /path/to/flex_sdk_4.5.0.17077/bin/adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore SelfSigned.pfx -target native air/Xerte3.dmg application.xml -C bin .

Maybe this helps?

If you like I can also try to compile a Mac version from the latest svn?!

Best,

Peter
