Will try to pick up on all the emails re customising and see where I get
- maybe not too far at the mo - ! - but slowly does it. 

 

Anyway, thanks for thoughts on the customisation aspect. Much
appreciated.

 

Somewhere along the email line I thought I read something about the
possibility of making the customisation somewhat more simple than it is
for, say, someone like me who is more a content author than someone
comfortable dealing with (even simple) code - wondering how simple the
process could be made?

The engine doesn't change much these days. That doesn't mean it won't,
but I haven't added anything for ages,

Go ahead then, take the engine apart.

Just don't cry to us when you end up with something that doesn't look
quite like the picture in the manual and you have a couple spare class
files left over sitting on the bench.
